Cocos (Keeling) Islands Forecast

Weather Situation:
A low pressure trough is forecast to persist in the vicinity of the islands,
bringing an increased chance of showers throughout the duration of the forecast
period. Severe Tropical Cyclone Taliah will continue to move westward over the
coming days, and is expected to pass to the south of the islands during Friday.
Severe Tropical Cyclone Taliah is likely to bring increased rainfall, winds,

Partly cloudy. Medium chance of showers, most likely in the evening.
Winds: W 10 to 15 knots.
Seas: About 2 metres.
Swell 1: SW 1 to 1.5 metres.
Swell 2: S/SE about 1 metre.

Becoming windy. Cloudy. Medium chance of showers.
Winds: W/SW 15 to 20 knots, increasing to 20 to 25 knots in the evening.

Winds: W/SW 20 to 25 knots turning W/NW later in the day.
