Easter Forecast for QLD

Good Friday

The southern half of the state will start off cool, with temperatures ranging from low to mid Teens even reaching as low as 10 in places. Closer to the coast will be slightly warmer. Across the northern half the morning will start relatively cool for the regions in the north. Daytime temperatures are going to increase rapidly under mostly clear skies, The eastern half of the sate will see temperatures in the mid to high 20s and the western half will see temperatures from the high 20s to low 30s.

Other then a few showers in FNQ and storm activity over the Western Cape, Majority of QLD will be dry under clear skies.

Easter Saturday

In the south of the state, minimums will be slightly warmer on Saturday morning compared to Friday. In the north the minimums will be fairly similar to the morning prior. The southern half will see minimums between mid to high teens. Maximums across the eastern half of the state will range between high 20s to 30C. Temperatures across the western half will range between low to mid 30s.

Clear skies will be dominant over most of the state. Resulting in little to no rain except over the Cape and FNQ where Showers and storms are likely to form.

Easter Sunday

Easter morning will start warmer once again with mild temperatures forecast across the majority of the state. Temperatures across the whole state should range between mid teens to Low 20s. Maximums are expected to once again be between the mid to high 20s across the eastern half of the state and low to high 30s across the western half. Temperatures around 37 or 38 are possible around the Mt Isa area and further south in Far Western QLD.

Most of QLD will once again remain mostly dry except for the Cape and FNQ where storms and rain will be the dominant feature in that region.

Easter Monday

Monday will start slightly cooler again, with temperatures dropping in to the low teens across some of the south.  The north will be near the same as the previous days. The maximums should also be cooler in the SW of the state being between low to mid 20s inland but the SEQ will remain around the high 20s to low 30s. In the north temperatures will remain around the high 20s to low 30s.

Once again the state will remain mostly rain free, except for the Cape and FNQ. A few showers may also effect the west.
